RYA Weekly Stage 2 - NAS Primary/Secondary School » Thursday Stage 2
18th April - 6 June 2019, 3:30pm - 5:30pm
On completion of their Stage 1 course, children will move onto the stage 2. Here they will learn to sail upwind, control their speed, learn parts of the sail, rope work and basic rules of the road.
This course will take place as 8 x 2hr weekly sessions. Please note the term start at finish dates at the time of booking.
Course Prerequisites: RYA Youth Stage 1 certificate - Those that are not able to produce this certificate will not be allowed to join onto the course, and course fees will be lost.
Timings: 3.30pm till 5.30pm on designated days
Ability after course: Children should be able to tack and control boat speed, as well as understand the principals of sailing
