The DOSC Adult Practice Club is a supportive, social sailing session designed for those looking to build confidence and sharpen their skills between or after formal courses. Whether you're preparing for your next RYA level or simply want more time on the water, this is the ideal opportunity to sail with light coaching and guidance.
Program Overview:
Open to sailors who have completed RYA Dinghy Level 1, the Practice Club offers informal sailing sessions on the weekends, with instructor support available for coaching, safety oversight, and helpful rigging tips. Its a great way to maintain progress, refresh your skills, and sail in a relaxed, social environment.
What to Expect:
- On-water support from a qualified instructor
- Freedom to sail at your own pace with guidance as needed
- Rigging advice, technique tips, and safety oversight
- Opportunity to practice ahead of or after your RYA courses
- Social sailing with fellow adult sailors
Program Details:
- Schedule: Either Saturday or Sunday
- Timings: Either 10:00 AM 1:00 PM or 2:00 PM 5:00 PM
- Session Length: 3 hours
- Minimum Age: 14 years
- Prerequisite: RYA Dinghy Level 1 and above
- Outcome: Improved confidence and sailing technique in a casual setting

Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations or postponements of the entire course must be submitted in writing to DOSC at least 60 hours before the course start date.
