Children will learn to sail upwind, control their speed, learn parts of the sail, rope work and basic rules of the road.
This course will take place as 9 x 2hr sessions (Friday). Please note the term start at finish dates at the time of booking.
Course Prerequisites: none
Timings: 1pm until 3pm on designated days
Minimum Age: 8
Ability after course: Children should be able to tack and control boat speed, as well as understand the principals of sailing
Please note there will not be sailing lessons during the half term break: 13th - 17th February 2023
The dates for the term is: 13th Jan, 20th Jan, 27th Jan, 3rd Feb, 10th Feb, 24th Feb, 3rd Mar, 10th Mar, 17th Mar.
