Jumeirah Primary School » Beginner Group

The sailing courses for children, they will discover a basic understanding of how a boat sails, and will cover launching and recovery, steering, handling and parts of the boat. They will learn to sail upwind, control their speed, learn parts of the sail, rope work and basic rules of the road.

Courses - Beginner Group

Duration:  18th April 2024 till 29th May 2024 (7 weeks)

Dates: 18 Apr, 25th Apr, 2nd May, 9th May, 16th May, 23nd May, 30th May

Day: Thursday

Timings: 4pm until 6pm

If the student misses a session, unfortunately the session is lost and there will be no makeup session.

Once booked, cancellation or postponement of the course has to be informed to DOSC more than 48 hours prior to the course date booked.

*All boats need to be off the water at sunset
