Jess Jumeirah » Beginner Group

On this sailing course for children, they will discover a basic understanding of how a boat sails, and will cover launching and recovery, steering, handling and parts of the boat. They will learn to sail upwind, control their speed, learn parts of the sail, rope work and basic rules of the road.

Course - Beginner Group

Duration:  16th September till 9th December 2024 (11 weeks)

Dates: 16th Sep, 23rd Sep, 30th Sep, 7th Oct, 21st Oct, 28th Oct, 4th Nov, 11th Nov, 18th Nov, 25th Nov, 9th Dec  (11 weeks)

Day: Monday

Timings: 4pm until 6pm

Please note that there is no sessions on the 14th October & 2nd December

Student/s who are booked on this weekly fixed afterschool program will need to attend all sessions, and kindly note that no makeup session/s are offered if student/s missed any session/s regardless of any reasons. Please refer to the T&Cs for reference.

Once booked, cancellation or postponement of the whole course has to be informed to DOSC in writing at least minimum of 48 hours prior to the course start date.
