Weekly - Junior Rib Club (Sundays)

Junior RIB club is all about learning how to use powerboats safely, while challenging your new skills. For new drivers, we'll work towards RYA Powerboat Level 1; safety checks, planing maneuvers, coming along side (parking) and more will be covered. Those with previous experience will look forward to more advanced techniques which includes navigation, man overboard, and a deeper look into the theory.

This club is for anyone between the ages of 10 and 16 who is interested in developing their powerboating skills and having a great time learning something new!

Course Prerequisites: Water confident

Duration: 3 hours, every Sunday of the term.

Term Dates 1 : 10th Sep, 17th Sep, 24th Sep, 1st Oct, 8th Oct, 29th Oct (6 weeks)

Term Dates 2 : 5th Nov, 12th Nov, 19th Nov, 26th Nov, 3rd Dec, 10th Dec (6 weeks)

Timings: 10:00 - 13:00

Minimum Age: 10

Ability after the course: RYA Powerboat Level 1 or 2 (as appropriate)

Once booked, cancellation or postponement of the course has to be informed to DOSC more than 48 hours prior to the course date booked. If a session is lost, no make up session is provided.
