Give your child their first taste of sailing with our fun and engaging Taster Session—a perfect way to introduce 6 to 10-year-olds to the world of sailing in a safe, supportive, and exciting environment.
Session Overview:
This 3-hour session is designed to give young children the opportunity to experience sailing and see if its something theyd like to pursue further. The session includes time on the water with games, gentle instruction, and basic boat control—all under the guidance of our qualified and friendly instructors.
What to Expect:
- A fun, relaxed introduction to dinghy sailing
- On-water games and simple control exercises
- Confidence-building activities in a small-group setting
- Time to explore whether sailing is the right fit for them
- Supervised by qualified instructors with safety as a priority
Session Details:
- Duration: 3 Hours
- Timings: 10:00 AM 1:00 PM or 2:00 PM 5:00 PM
- Minimum Age: 6 years
- Prerequisite: Water confident (no previous sailing experience required)
- Outcome: A basic understanding of boat controls and a positive first experience on the water

Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations or postponements of the entire course must be submitted in writing to DOSC at least 60 hours before the course start date.
