Nord Anglia Primary/Secondary School » Beginner Group Term 3

The sailing courses for children, they will discover a basic understanding of how a boat sails, and will cover launching and recovery, steering, handling and parts of the boat. They will learn to sail upwind, control their speed, learn parts of the sail, rope work and basic rules of the road.

There will be 2 groups the Term 3: 

Beginner Group- Pre requisite (None or Stage 1 certificate)

Intermediate Group - Pre requisite (Stage 2 & 3 certificate)

This course will take place as 8 x 2hr weekly sessions. Please note the term start at finish dates at the time of booking.

Please make sure you book the correct course for the student. They would need to have the appropriate certificates for the Stage's.

Timings: 4pm till 6pm 

Day: Every Wednesday

Term dates: 9th Apr, 16th Apr, 23rd Apr, 30th Apr, 7th May, 14th May, 21st May, 28th May (8 weeks)

Please note: 

Student/s who are booked on this weekly fixed afterschool program will need to attend all sessions, and kindly note that no makeup session/s are offered if student/s missed any session/s regardless of any reasons. Please refer to the T&Cs for reference.

*All boats need to be off the water at sunset
