Nord Anglia Primary/Secondary School » Beginner Group

The sailing courses for children, they will discover a basic understanding of how a boat sails, and will cover launching and recovery, steering, handling and parts of the boat. They will learn to sail upwind, control their speed, learn parts of the sail, rope work and basic rules of the road.

There will be 3 groups the Term 3: 

Beginner Group- Pre requisite (None or Stage 1 certificate)

Intermediate Group - Pre requisite (Stage 2 & 3 certificate)

Advance Group - Pre requisite (Stage  4 certificate)

This course will take place as 7 x 2hr weekly sessions. Please note the term start at finish dates at the time of booking.

Please make sure you book the correct course for the student. They would need to have the appropriate certificates for the Stage's.

Timings: 4pm till 6pm 

Day: Every Wednesday

Term dates: 24th Apr, 1st May, 8th May, 15th May, 22nd May, 29th May, 5th Jun (7 weeks)

If the student misses a session, the session is lost and no make up or catch up lesson will be provided.
