Rescue Boat

This course is designed to prepare you for safety boat duties. Various rescue techniques for dinghies and people will be covered through the day be prepared to get into the water!

Course Prerequisites: RYA PB2, 8 hours logged driving, and a basic understanding of sailing

Duration: 1 day

Timings: 09:30 - 17:30

Minimum Age: 16

Ability after the course: Able to rescue various craft using techniques appropriate to the conditions

Once booked, cancellation or postponement of the course has to be informed to DOSC more than 48 hours prior to the course date booked. If a session is lost, no make up session is provided.
