RYA Competent Crew - Weekday » RYA Competent Crew - weekday

28th - 30 October, 9:00am - 5:00pm

The Competent Crew course is a follow on from the Start Yachting course. This course is for those who would like to become active crew members rather than just passengers.

Experience living on board and really get to know the boat. Virtually all the course is hands on. You are the crew - without you the sails won't go up and the boat won't be steered. By the end of the course you should be able to steer, handle sails, keep a lookout, row a dinghy and assist in all the day to day duties on board. On successful completion of both the Start Yachting course, and the Competent Crew course, you will obtain your full competent crew certificate, which will enable you to sign up for the 5 day Dayskipper Theory course.
