Between courses you should be focused on building their confidence and improving your skippering skills. Our Mile Building Sailing Trip is designed especially for this. If you want to improve your skills and gain confidence while sailing around the UAE look below.

Our mile-building sailing trip starts from DOSC and finishes 3 or 5 days later back at DOSC, we will aim to cover up to 300Nm including Moon Island, Abu Dhabi and Al Hamra. You will get fully involved in the daily routine, sailing, navigation and passage planning. Our yachts are fully equipped and our skippers are RYA Qualified instructors. The passages of the trip will be longer than the ones of the practical courses. You will sail and navigate at least one long night passage and you will be in charge of the yacht ( with some guidance from the skipper) 

Pleas noted that this course is over 3 consecutive days. You will live on board for 2 nights

Itinerary: An example itinerary for you is shown below, (it may change due to weather forecasts). Please note that you will be staying onboard overnight away from DOSC for the duration of your mile builder package.

1st Day Meet at DOSC at 0845. Prep the boat and sail to Jebal Ali. Stay onboard overnight.

2nd Day Sail to Port Rashid. Stay onboard overnight.

3rd Day Sail to DOSC. week de brief and logbook signed

Once booked, cancellation or postponement of the course has to be informed to DOSC more than 48 hours prior to the course date booked
