RYA Stage 1

This is the first step to sailing for young children. They will discover a basic understanding of how a boat sails, and will cover launching and recovery, steering, handling and parts of the boat.

Course Prerequisites: None - children under the age of 7 must participate in a one day taster session prior to signing up for this course

Minimum Duration: 2 days

Minimum Age: 6

Ability after course: Able to steer and understand basic principles
