This is the first step to sailing for older children, they will discover a basic understanding of how a boat sails, and will cover launching and recovery, steering, handling and parts of the boat. This course is suitable for taller children and teens where an optimist would be too small for them to learn on. Please ensure that you are booking onto the correct age group for your child.
Course Prerequisites: None
Minimum Duration: 2 days
Timings: 10am till 4pm on both days
Minimum Age: 11
Ability after course: Able to steer and understand basic principles
