Weekly RYA Children's Courses » RYA Weekly Stage 2

Children will learn to sail upwind, control their speed, learn parts of the sail, rope work and basic rules of the road.

Course Prerequisites: RYA Stage 1 Certificate

Timings: 4.00pm till 6.00pm 

Schedule Dates: 

• Every Monday 8th Jan, 15th Jan, 22nd Jan, 29th Jan, 5th Feb, 19th Feb, 26th Feb, 4th Mar, 11th Mar, 18th Mar (10 weeks)

Minimum Age: 7

Ability after course: Children should be able to tack and control boat speed, as well as understand the principals of sailing

If you are not able to make 1 of the sessions, the session is lost and there is no make up session.

Please note that there is no session on the week of 12th - 16th February due to the SB20 World Championship

Once booked, cancellation or postponement of the course has to be informed to DOSC more than 48 hours prior to the course date booked.

*All boats need to be off the water at sunset
