Course Content

• Afternoon session

Taking the boat out on the water again conditions dictate better winds in the afternoon, which sailing an option and will include 

- Raising the main sail and genoa

- Sail trim

- Points of sail

- MOB (Man Overboard)

- Anchoring techniques

- The roll of the flotilla crew, and bareboat hire

Timings: 1pm until 4pm

Pre-requisite: must have completed any of the cruising yachting courses starting from the RYA Start Yachting course up to RYA Day Skipper practical course.

Once booked, cancellation or postponement of the course has to be informed to DOSC more than 48 hours prior to the course date booked
