Seamanship Skills

During this course you will polish your skills and learn to resolve problems afloat. The course will give you foundation in the subject of seamanship enabling you to become much more confident afloat and self-sufficient.

This course is for crew or skippers that want to develop their practical and theory skills in Seamanship.

Pre-course requisite: RYA Competent crew course

Duration: 2 days

Minimum age: 16 years

Course content: Types of modern synthetic rope and its uses, engine systems and basic maintenance, different reefing systems and their limitations, damage control, charts and publications and much more.

Timing: 10am until 6pm
