Weekly Weekend Learn to Sail Courses » Beginner (Sunday Group) - Term 1

Our weekend Learn to Sail courses run by term, with beginners having the choice of Saturday or Sunday mornings, to utilize the lighter winds and build confidence. RYA Stage 1 & 2 will be taught, which covers the basics of sailing and introduces the skills needed to progress into a confident small boat sailor.

We want our students to love sailing, so there will be lots of games, challenges, and activities which promote the love of the water and confidence in their abilities.

Course Prerequisites: Water confident

Duration: 3 hours, every Sunday of the term.

Timings: 10:00 - 13:00

Term Dates : 8th Sep, 15th Sep, 22nd Sep, 29th Sep, 6th Oct, 13th Oct (6 weeks)

Minimum Age: 6

Ability after the course: RYA Stage 1 or 2 (as appropriate)

Please Note:

Student/s who are booked on this weekly fixed weekend term will need to attend all sessions, and kindly note that no makeup session/s are offered if student/s missed any session/s regardless of any reasons. Please refer to the T&Cs for reference.

Once booked, cancellation or postponement of the whole course has to be informed to DOSC in writing at least minimum of 48 hours prior to the course start date.
