Weekly Learn to Sail Courses » Beginner (Saturday Group) - Term 3

Our new weekend Learn to Sail courses run by term, with beginners having the choice of Saturday or Sunday mornings, to utilize the lighter winds and build confidence. RYA Stage 1 & 2 will be taught, which covers the basics of sailing and introduces the skills needed to progress into a confident small boat sailor.

We want our students to love sailing, so there will be lots of games, challenges, and activities which promote the love of the water and confidence in their abilities.

Course Prerequisites: Water confident

Duration: 3 hours, every Saturday of the term.

Timings: 10:00 - 13:00

Term Dates : 20th Apr, 27th Apr, 4th May, 11th May, 18th May, 25th May (6 weeks)

Minimum Age: 6

Ability after the course: RYA Stage 1 or 2 (as appropriate)

If you are not able to make 1 of the sessions, the session is lost and there is no make up session.

Once booked, cancellation or postponement of the course has to be informed to DOSC more than 48 hours prior to the course date booked. If a session is lost, no make up session is provided.
