This 8 weeks course provides the skills and background knowledge required to drive a powerboat. It includes close quarters handling, planning maneuvers, securing to a buoy, anchoring, leaving and coming alongside as well as man overboard recovery and collision regulations.

Duration: 8 Weeks

Timings: 10:00 - 12:00

Schedule Dates: 8th Jan, 15th Jan, 22nd Jan, 29th Jan, 5th Feb, 19th Feb, 26th Feb, 4th Mar (8 weeks)

Minimum Age: 12. Candidates under the age of 16 will be issued with an endorsed certificate

Ability after the course: Self-sufficient powerboater in the mild conditions, aware of own limitations and those of craft

Instructor : Student Ratio: 1:3

If you are not able to make 1 of the sessions, the session is lost and there is no make up session.

Please note that there is no session on the week of 12th - 16th February due to the SB20 World Championship
