Our new program for competitive youngsters encompasses competition with basics of sailing, to jumpstart a successful racing career
The Program is focused around time on the water, in an optimist to accelerate development towards the end goal of being part of the DOSC Race Academy
Objectives of the Programme
- Creating a consistent pipeline of Cadet Sailors.
- Building a transition/bridge between the School and Academy
- Improving standard of green roots sailing.
- Establish and develop a world-class sailing team to positively represent the UAE in international sailing competitions
Pre Requirement:
- Open for ages 6-8 year old who can confidently swim
Training Programme:
Days: Wednesday and Thursday (8 weeks)
Timing: 16:00 - 18:00
Term Dates: Wednesday - 9th Apr, 16th Apr, 23rd Apr, 30th Apr, 7th May, 14th May, 21st May, 28th May (8 Sessions)
Thursday - 10th Apr, 17th Apr, 24th Apr, 1st May, 8th May, 15th May, 22nd May, 29th May (8 Sessions)
Student/s who are booked on this weekly fixed Race Squad program will need to attend all sessions, and kindly note that no makeup session/s are offered if student/s missed any session/s regardless of any reasons. Please refer to the T&Cs for reference.
Once booked, cancellation or postponement of the whole course has to be informed to DOSC in writing at least minimum of 48 hours prior to the course start date.

*All boats need to be off the water at sunset
